Is the unknown creator of Bitcoin writing a book about it?
That could be concluded from a cryptic message posted Friday at a website
possibly linked to Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonym used by the person
or people who released the original Bitcoin white paper in 2008.
The problem is - and Bloomberg's army of editors should have picked this up right away - is that the website was only registered 3 days ago at Amazon Registrar. A registrar that requires photo ID and a credit card.
Does Bloomberg honestly believe that the real Satoshi, who has successfully evaded detection for 8 years, would be so foolish as to register a domain that requires real-world identification? We think not. Then there's the inconvenient fact that Satoshi's private key was not used to sign the message, nor were any bitcoins moved from his wallets.
This is just another click-bait article and the purported book should be reported for what it is, fan fiction.
