We like to keep things simple here at Pixelics and our approach to safeguarding your privacy is no different. We believe that your data is yours and so we go out of our way to make sure that we only collect the bare minimum required to function.
Identity & access
When you sign up for Pixelics we collect your name and email address - that's it! That information is required so that you can personalise your account and so that we can send you invoices, updates, or other essential information. We will never, ever sell your personal info to third parties and we will not use your name or company in marketing statements without your explicit permission.
When you browse our website or read our research we will store that activity for statistical purposes, AFTER we have made sure to remove all identifying account information. We only do this because it can be useful to, for instance, gauge the popularity of a new indicator or research entry. None of the data can be traced back to individual accounts, we just want to get a big picture of how people use our content. We will not share this information with any third parties.
Pixelics will not hand your data over to law enforcement unless required by an Australian court order. We reject requests from local, state and federal law enforcement when they seek data without a court order.
Unless we are legally prevented from doing so we will always inform you when such requests are made.
Encryption and payments
The only user data we store are the account details you sign up with, i.e. your email address and full name. All data is encrypted via SSL/TLS when transmitted from our servers to your browser and our database backups are secured with 256-bit AES and scrypt.
We do not store any payment or credit card details on-site. All credit card transactions are processed using secure encryption — the same level of encryption used by leading banks. Card information is transmitted, stored, and processed securely on the Stripe network. For more information about Stripe, please have a read of the Stripe Services Agreement on its website.
Changes & questions
Pixelics may update this policy occasionally. If there are significant changes we will email the account owner or place a prominent notice on our website. You can access, change or delete your personal information at any time by contacting our support team.
